Herpasorin

Herpasorin is a protective nasal hydrogel. It is suitable for adults and children over the age of 3. It is particularly suitable for those who cannot make use of corticosteroids, for example, patients with glaucoma and nasal polyps. Thaks to its antihistamine, anti-inflammatory, fil-making, emollient and protective components it provides immediate relief from symptoms of allergic nhinitis caused by allergens, such as pollen, dust, mould or animal hairs.

Herpasorin protects and hydrates the nasal mucosa. Applied to the opening of the nostrils, it forms an emollient and protective film that prevents external irritants (dust, pollen and other allergens) from adhering to the nasal mucosa, protecting and maintaining it.

Before use, blow your nose gently. It is recommended you apply a suitable quantity of product, depending on age and nostril size (approximately the size of a coffee bean for adults and half this amount for children), placing the nozzle of the tube at the opening of the nostril. Then squeeze the nostrils gently to ensure adherence of the product, preferably around 20 minutes before leaving home or as soon as you get up.

Herpasorin contains a blend of components::

• Hyaluronic Acid: it is a film-forming polymer with a threedimensional structure encouraging other molecules to remain on the action site. It acts as barrier, as it prevents the entry of allergens and limits the diffusion of viruses and bacteria. It encourages natural hydration of the skin and has a healing effect.
• Trehalose: It effectively protects the structure of the epidermal cell membrane (6), protects cells from dehydration and guarantees prolonged hydration.
• Protected vitamin C: it has antioxidant and protective properties.
• Quercetin: It has antihistamine properties, as it reduces the secretion of histamine by mast cells and inhibits the IgE antibodies responsible for allergy symptoms. Furthermore, quercetin has significant anti-inflammatory properties topically. The mechanism of action takes place thanks to the ability of quercetin to inhibit multiple tyrosine kinases, enzymes that activate macrophages, cells whose many activities also include the production of proinflammatory cytokines.
• Copper Gluconate: Contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and has antiviral properties. The + ions of copper destroy the viral capsid (external envelope) with oxidation of the proteins that form the capsid, causing the degradation of viral DNA, and blocking its replication and
  diffusion.

• The colour of the product is natural
• Clean away any excess product with a paper handkerchief to avoid staining the skin
• Do not use if there are any serious lesions to the mucosa or bleeding from the nose
• Do not use in the event of hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more of the components
• Keep at room temperature, away from sources of heat and out of direct light
• During pregnancy or breastfeeding consult your doctor
• Keep out of the reach of children
• The expiry date refers to the unopened and correctly stored product
• Dispose of waste product correctly after use
